We specialize in consulting, engineering, procurement and construction across the project lifecycle, with services extending through to operations and decommissioning.\nLeveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\n\nPurpose\nTimely completion of designs and requisitioning.\nAdherence to Department/Group Working Instructions and Quality Management Manual.\nPerformance in assigned areas of responsibility.\nProvision of technical expertise within the Process discipline.\nAssistance to Department Head/Discipline Head.\nCarrying out duties and responsibilities as Lead Engineer when assigned to a project.\nProviding specialized expertise in hydraulic, surge, and transient flow analysis to support safe and efficient design of process and utility systems.\n\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Process Engineer (Hydraulic & Surge Analysis) with Worley, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class engineering solutions for our clients while continuing to develop your technical and leadership capabilities.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing and leading hydraulic and surge studies, developing simulation models, identifying system vulnerabilities, evaluating mitigation measures, and supporting the design and operation of process, utility, and pipeline systems across energy, chemicals, and resources projects.\n\nQuality Policy, Core Values and Objectives\nBudget Planning\nClient Liaison\nTechnical Participation\nDevelopement\n\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.\nMaster's Degree is desirable.\nExperience\nMinimum 12-15 years of Process Engineering experience.\nAt least 8 years within an engineering consultancy, EPCM organization, or technical services group.\nMinimum 5-8 years of specialized experience in Hydraulic and Surge Analysis.\nExperience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Water Infrastructure, or Energy Transition projects is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of fluid flow, hydraulic systems, process engineering principles and pipeline hydraulics.\nExtensive experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic analysis.\nProven expertise in:Water Hammer Studies\nSurge Analysis\nDynamic Hydraulic Simulation\nPipeline Hydraulics\nUtility Network Analysis\n\nHands-on experience with:AFT Fathom\nAFT Impulse\nPIPENET\nTLNET\nTGNET\nEquivalent hydraulic simulation software\n\nAbility to independently:Build simulation models\nInterpret results\nDiagnose hydraulic issues\nRecommend practical mitigation measures\n\nKnowledge of applicable standards and practices including:API\nASME\nISO\nEnergy Institute Standards\nShell DEP\nClient Engineering Standards\n\nExperience evaluating equipment integrity under transient conditions.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nMoving Forward Together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
