Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nPrimary Objectives / Responsibilities\nProvide project planning services, including the implementation, coordination, and management of planning processes across the full project lifecycle, from concept and evaluation through execution and operation.\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate integrated project schedules to support effective project delivery.\nDeliver realistic planning solutions and provide ongoing schedule analysis, performance monitoring, and progress reporting.\nSupport project teams in identifying schedule risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.\nEnsure planning activities align with project objectives, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.\nCoordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and operational functions.\nSpecific Accountabilities\n·Implement and maintain project schedules, including Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies appropriate to project scope and work packages.\n·Ensure alignment between planning and cost management through effective project breakdown structures and control mechanisms.\n·Develop and maintain integrated schedule networks using Critical Path Method (CPM) principles.\n·Analyze schedule impacts, dependencies, constraints, and critical paths to support project decision-making.\n·Attend project and stakeholder meetings and present schedule status, progress updates, forecast outcomes, and recovery plans.\n·Develop, maintain, and control project execution schedules and associated planning deliverables.\n·Coordinate schedule assumptions with cost engineering, estimating, risk management, and project management teams.\n·Develop and monitor key project milestones and ensure resource availability and leveling throughout project execution.\n·Liaise with Project Engineers and discipline leads to identify schedule drivers, risks, and opportunities.\n·Review and validate contractor and vendor progress and ensure accurate incorporation into project schedules.\n·Assess and incorporate approved scope changes, productivity impacts, and schedule deviations into project plans.\n·Identify and recommend schedule optimization and recovery measures where required.\nEssential Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in Project Planning within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial sectors.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in a lead role managing or mentoring Planning Engineers.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Brownfield project planning and project delivery environments.\nExperience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, systems completion, maintenance, and shutdown planning.\nStrong understanding of project management and project controls methodologies.\nDemonstrated experience developing and managing integrated project schedules.\nExperience mentoring and supporting planning professionals.\nExperience working in multicultural and diverse project environments.\n·Experience managing EPCM projects.\nRequired Competencies\nStrong knowledge of planning and scheduling software, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.\nWorking knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), resource loading, resource leveling, and schedule forecasting.\nAbility to implement schedule change management processes and analyze schedule performance impacts.\nStrong understanding of project controls principles and planning best practices.\nAbility to coordinate effectively with project controls, cost control, engineering, procurement, construction, and document control teams.\nExperience developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and resource-loaded schedules.\nAbility to identify schedule risks, develop mitigation plans, and optimize project performance.\nStrong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to develop and improve planning processes, procedures, and scheduling methodologies.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
