That’s why we offer flexible and hybrid working options, so you can choose when, where and how you work\nAs a Senior Project Planner, you will be joining the BHP Copper South Australia (C2C) MCG Program, and play a key role in delivering a major capital growth portfolio. We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to develop, maintain, and analyse integrated project schedules while providing schedule insight and strategic planning support to project leadership.\nWhat you’ll do\nThe role responsibilities include:\nDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.\nLead schedule development across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup phases.\nPerform critical path analysis, schedule risk identification, and recovery planning.\nSupport progress measurement, productivity analysis, and schedule forecasting.\nPrepare schedule performance reports, look-aheads, and executive dashboards.\nWork closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and client stakeholders to drive schedule performance.\nSupport planning governance, change management, and schedule assurance activities.\nWhat you’ll have\nSignificant planning experience on mining, energy, infrastructure, or EPCM projects.\nAdvanced Primavera P6 scheduling skills, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and schedule forecasting.\nStrong understanding of project execution methodologies, progress measurement, and schedule governance.\nExperience supporting major capital projects through study, execution, and commissioning phases.\nAbility to communicate schedule risks, opportunities, and recovery strategies to project leadership and clients.\nPreferred Experience\nMining and resources sector experience.\nExposure to integrated project controls environments, working closely with cost, risk, and reporting teams.\nExperience with schedule risk analysis, Power BI reporting, and portfolio-level planning.\nWhy you should apply\nFlexible work arrangements.\nTake advantage of our global on-line learning platform!\nCompetitive remuneration & employee benefits.\nEnjoy a varied & challenging role.\nCareer development opportunities beyond this role.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
