Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Structural Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.\nThe Offshore Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for performing and reviewing structural analysis and design for offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project requirements. The role provides technical support across FEED and detailed design phases, prepares deliverables, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports junior engineers in executing high quality structural engineering work.\nPerform structural analysis and design of Fixed Template Jacket Structures, Lifted Topsides, and Float-Over Topsides, covering in-service, pre-service, and accidental load cases.\nDevelop structural models and review engineering calculations, reports, and drawings.\nSupport design optimization initiatives and propose technical improvements.\nCoordinate with engineers and designers to ensure timely delivery of structural engineering outputs in line with scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.\nInterface with EPC contractors, clients, installation contractors, Marine Warranty Surveyors, and independent verification bodies.\nContribute to defining design philosophies, analysis methodologies, and acceptance criteria.\nReview structural deliverables for concept, FEED, detailed design, and as-built documentation.\nSupport resolution of technical issues and provide engineering clarifications during project execution.\nProvide guidance to junior structural engineers and check the work produced by designers and analysts.\nPromote knowledge sharing and best practices across the project team.\nSupport preparation of RFQs, review vendor documents, and contribute to technical bid evaluations (TBEs) for items such as steel plates, hot-rolled sections, welded tubulars, EADs, grout seals, LMUs, anodes, etc.\nAbout You\nTo be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.\n12-20 years of relevant industry experience in offshore structural engineering.\nStrong background in analysis and design of Fixed Template Structures, FPSO modules, and offshore renewables (wind, hydrogen, CCS).\nExperience working on FEED/EPC projects for major clients.\nGood understanding of geotechnical aspects related to offshore and subsea structures. \nKnowledge of steel material grades, testing requirements, and fabrication-related specifications.\nProficiency in analysis of float-over/lifted topsides and launched/lifted jackets.\nGood understanding of weight control for offshore structures. \nStrong working knowledge of ISO 19901, ISO 19902, AISC-360, API (WSD & LRFD), DNV codes. \nHands-on experience with structural analysis tools such as SACS, SESAM, USFOS, ANSYS, ABAQUS, STAAD.\nStrong communication abilities to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.\nAbility to work independently with sound engineering judgment while collaborating with larger project teams.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
