Manage small to large projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Responsible for the CSA Engineering team's output, technical integrity, and compliance with safety standards. Drive engineering excellence and adherence to industry codes.\nWe seek a self-motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills, adept at solving complex Engineering challenges.\nThis role is based at our Mesa, Arizona office and is a full-time opportunity.\nResponsibilities:\nLead a discipline project team in the CSA department for Mining, Minerals, and Metals projects.\nAct as the project lead designer/engineer, overseeing the work of engineers, designers, or drafters.\nPerform design/engineering work and deliverables within the CSA team.\nInterpret customer specifications and coordinate/communicate with other disciplines and customers.\nSupport scope definition, estimation, and progress control of CSA engineering activities.\nLead RFP, estimations, detailed engineering, and field support project activities.\nEnsure familiarity with applicable codes, mining CSA standards, and customer standards.\nSupport quality assurance and verification roles on engineering deliverables.\nIdentify and resolve issues and problems, keeping abreast of the latest developments in CSA engineering.\nAct as the CSA engineering lead on specific projects when required.\nEnsure project scope clarity and compliance with change management processes.\nParticipate in meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.\nProvide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.\nOffer construction management support for customers as required.\nLiaise with clients, vendors, engineers, and other disciplines.\nContribute to the professional development of less experienced team members.\nDeliver structural engineering services meeting Worley, customer, and regulatory standards.\nInitiate, manage, and supervise structural engineering activities to meet project requirements.\nParticipate in the preparation of specifications, structural analysis, seismic design, and evaluation.\nDesign and analyze general steel, concrete, and specialized structures using relevant codes and standards.\nParticipate in site walkdowns, project meetings, design reviews, and incorporation of review comments.\nMonitor assigned activities for effective performance and adherence to established policies and standards.\nLead a team to ensure successful delivery for various mining, minerals, and metals projects.\nMentor junior or intermediate staff.\nPlan and identify structural engineering resources.\nIn-process activities for engineering deliverables (prepare, review, verify, approve).\nCoordinate key technical deliverables.\nWork interactively with internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality engineering products and customer satisfaction.\nEnsure adherence to government, organization, and customer engineering standards and procedures.\nParticipate in engineering department and section meetings.\nDemonstrate highly effective technical and practical engineering skills, consistently delivering quality work.\nPossess sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals and basic requirements of other engineering fields.\nUtilize structural engineering software (Staad.Pro, Mathcad) and have a working knowledge of structural 3D modeling programs such as Aveva E3D and Smart 3D.\nCompetently use relevant software, such as MS Office Suite.\nCollaborate and develop a strategic pursuit and proposal development of CSA discipline.\nDevelop a CSA discipline ´proposal write-up including technical, value proposition and vision objectives.\nCSA discipline specific technical and value improving practices presentations to clients.\nReview of Detailed Engineering design, documents, drawings, calculation and sealing and stamping for the IFC issuance.\nWhat you will bring\nTechnical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:\n4+ years Mining, Minerals & Metals projects experience.\nStructural Licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona (or able to obtain in a short-term) State.\nMining regulatory/MSHA certification and experience.\n2 to 4 years of EPC/EPCM Mining project experience.\nEducation - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n8+ years Lead or Senior Civil, Structural Engineer experience.\nPreferred:\nAdvanced degree in Structural Engineering would be considered an asset. \nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
