You will apply engineering principles and water modeling expertise to address complex hydrologic, hydraulic, water management, and environmental challenges while contributing to high-quality project execution, client satisfaction, and business growth.\nYou will collaborate closely with project managers, technical specialists, and clients to deliver practical, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions while continuing to build your technical and professional capabilities within a leading global consulting organization.\nLocation(s): Calgary, Alberta or Vancouver, British Columbia\nThis is a full-time position with flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work options based on project and business requirements. Travel may be required to support client engagement, field programs, and project delivery activities across North America.\nYou will be responsible for\nSupporting the delivery of water resources and surface water management projects across mining, chemicals, infrastructure, environmental, and industrial sectors.\nPerforming hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support engineering assessments, environmental studies, and project development activities.\nDeveloping and applying water resources models using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim, SWMM, and PCSWMM.\nAssisting with watershed assessments, flood studies, drainage evaluations, stormwater management planning, and water balance analyses.\nPreparing technical reports, engineering studies, design documentation, and client deliverables that meet Worley’s quality standards.\nContributing to project execution through effective management of scope, schedule, budget, and deliverable requirements.\nCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resource considerations into broader environmental and engineering solutions.\nSupporting client relationship development by delivering exceptional service and contributing to positive project outcomes.\nMonitoring industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies related to water resource management.\nParticipating in business development activities, including proposal preparation, technical inputs, and market engagement initiatives.\nSupporting Worley’s commitment to health, safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence in all aspects of project delivery.\nContributing to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.\nWhat you’ll bring to the role\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization or focus in Water Resources Engineering.\nApproximately 3 to 7 years of relevant consulting, engineering, or water resources experience.\nExperience supporting water resources projects within mining, industrial, municipal, environmental, energy, or chemical sectors.\nWorking knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim, SWMM, and PCSWMM.\nUnderstanding of watershed management, flood risk assessment, drainage design, stormwater management, and surface water processes.\nEligibility for registration, or registration in good standing, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) within Canada.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and review technical documentation and present findings clearly.\nAbility to build productive working relationships with clients, regulators, project teams, and stakeholders.\nDemonstrated commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and quality management.\nFamiliarity with project delivery systems, quality management processes, and engineering consulting practices.\nA collaborative mindset, curiosity to learn, and a commitment to continuous professional development.\nBenefits\nFeel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including: paid-time off, holiday pay medical, life, dental, and life insurance plans, as well as Retirement Savings Plan.\nIn addition, Worley fosters a flexible and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth, technical development, collaboration, and career progression.
