Responsibilities:\nEnsuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.\nSafe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget, ensuring that a quality product is produced that represents ‘best value’ for the Owner and their Stakeholders.\nCoordinate and supervise the Loss Prevention engineering aspects of the Assiut Hydrocracking Complex Project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.\nSupervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Loss Prevention related Engineering deliverables developed by the Contractor and technology Licensors, ensuring design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices and in close conjunction with Owner’s functional departments.\nCo-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and Maintenance functions to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Engineering execution and integrity.\nProvide technical expertise on all subject matter pertaining to Loss Prevention Engineering during all phases of Project e.g. Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.\nResponsible for developing and establishing systems, procedures and standards for effective implementation of the Project in line with International Codes and Standards, Owner specifications, local regulations and Owner’s HSE policies, philosophies and requirements for Loss Prevention Engineering.\nChampion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.\nReporting to the PMC Engineering Manager and works under his direction. \nEnsure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Loss Prevention Engineering activities.\nReview and approve Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.\nProvide PMC Loss Prevention performance data and reports to PMC Management and the Owner.\nProvide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.\nPerform calculations for design validation and optimization.\nReview technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.\nParticipate in Layout, P&lD, PHASER, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc. \nProvide Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.\nProvide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.\nParticipate in analysis during Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.\nEnsure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Loss Prevention Engineering activities and review deliverables including philosophies, data sheets, specifications, layouts, close out reports, detailed drawings, etc. pertaining to risk studies, loss prevention systems, firefighting equipment, muster station, TGR’s, TSRs, Safety Signage, hazardous areas classifications, etc.\nReview any Project specific Risk Management Systems and criteria pertaining to Loss Prevention.\nManager & review of HSEIAs for Loss Prevention Engineering inputs, including reviewing hazards and effects registers, bow tie diagrams, HSECES register, HSCES performance standards and procedures, etc.\nReview Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.\nProvide assistance and support to Construction, Pre- commissioning and Commissioning phases of the works.\nReview Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all Loss Prevention actions arising out of key reviews, workshops, HSSEQ studies, safety related concerns, etc.\nReview technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis for Loss Prevention discipline.\nProvide Loss Prevention Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers\nParticipate in analysis during Contractor and Vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation and performance evaluation.\nAssist in the handling of correspondence related to Loss Prevention.\nQualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.\nMust have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. \nADNOC project experience is required.\nOffshore project experience is required.\nPMC experiences are preferrable.\nExperience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be
