This is an exciting opportunity to bring your existing industrial skills into the growing renewable energy sector.\nWe have two permanent Wind Turbine Technician positions available, based in the Ararat/Crowlands area. We’re looking to appoint one technician with an electrical background and one with a mechanical background.\nWorking as part of a supportive, safety-focused team, you’ll help maintain the safe and reliable operation of wind turbines by completing planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and equipment upgrades. You’ll also receive fully funded training in wind turbine systems, GWO and relevant high-voltage requirements.\nIf you have industrial electrical or mechanical experience, a hands-on approach and an interest in renewable energy, we’d love to hear from you. Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.\nWhat you’ll do\nPerform planned preventative maintenance and equipment performance checks.\nDiagnose faults and repair, refurbish or replace defective plant and equipment.\nComplete corrective maintenance to restore equipment performance.\nOperate or assist with the operation of assigned plant.\nAccurately document work activities, readings, materials and time in the Computerised Maintenance Management System.\nFollow Quality Assurance requirements, including technical procedures, inspections and test plans.\nParticipate in the standby and after-hours call-out roster.\nSupport other wind farm sites when required.\nParticipate in formal and on-the-job training and share your expertise with the wider team.\nTravel between sites and locations to support maintenance activities when required.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll hold one of the following accredited trade qualifications:\nElectrical trade qualification, ideally supported by industrial electrical experience; or\nMechanical, mechanical fitter or fitter trade qualification, ideally supported by heavy-industry experience.\nYou’ll also bring:\nA strong commitment to health, safety and quality.\nA current driver’s licence.\nA willingness to complete the training required to work safely on wind turbine systems.\nThe ability and willingness to travel and work in remote locations when required.\nA practical, hands-on approach to fault-finding and maintenance.\nThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing site team.\nGWO certification, working-at-heights rescue training, wind turbine experience, high-voltage switching qualifications and an understanding of asset management principles will be highly regarded but are not essential.\nWhy you should apply\nSecure a permanent role in the renewable energy sector.\nReceive fully funded training in wind turbine systems, GWO and relevant HV requirements.\nJoin a supportive, inclusive and safety-focused global team.\nEnjoy a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.\nAccess opportunities for professional development and career growth.\nWork in an environment where new ideas and innovation are encouraged.\nJoin an ASX-listed global energy leader committed to health, safety and the environment.\nMoving forward together\nWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
