across one product area or domain.\nOwn team delivery outcomes, including roadmap execution, reliability, and quality.\nPartner closely with Product and Design to translate business priorities into clear technical plans.\nDrive cycle planning, estimation, and delivery accountability.\nRemove blockers and resolve cross-team dependencies.\nEnsure the team balances speed with long-term maintainability.\nMaintain visibility into system health, performance, and risk areas.\nProvide regular 1:1 coaching and actionable feedback to each team member.\nConduct performance reviews, career development planning, and growth conversations.\nHire, interview, and onboard new engineers as the team scales.\nCreate an environment of psychological safety while maintaining high standards.\nCoach engineers on ownership, system design, and execution discipline.\nAddress performance issues early and constructively.\nEscalate risks and communicate tradeoffs clearly to leadership.\nContribute to organizational process improvements and engineering culture initiatives.\nTechnology Stack\nLanguages & Runtimes: Node.js, TypeScript\nFrameworks: Nest.js, React.js\nData & Messaging: PostgreSQL, directly managing engineers.\nRequires hands on keyboard at 50-80% of the time\nExperience leading teams of at least 4 engineers.\nStrong track record of delivering complex software projects on schedule.\nSolid system design fundamentals and architectural judgment.\nExperience partnering with Product and cross-functional stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor and grow engineers across multiple levels.\nAbility to balance delivery pressure with long-term technical health.\nExperience navigating ambiguity and setting clear direction.\nStrong written and verbal communication
