This philosophy serves as an unwavering commitment to the customer, supplier, and shareholder, and it serves as the foundation for one of the strongest employee-employer partnerships in American industry.\nFor more information about our products, please visit http://www.worthingtonarmstrongventure.com\nWAVE is currently looking for a Cleanroom Operator team member to join our team!\nSchedule:\nRegular shift hours will be:Monday through Thursday 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM and Friday 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Training will be conducted on day shift for the first few weeks)\nOccasional overtime may be required based on production needs\n\nSalary Range: $22.97 - $28.71 (not inclusive of shift differential for off shift or quarterly profit sharing)\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nThis position is responsible for activities associated with clean room operations. An operator must demonstrate the ability to coordinate all manufacturing functions such as press and tooling setup, equipment operation, quality inspection standard work, preventive maintenance, and machine troubleshooting.\nGeneral Responsibilities:\nMaintain continuous operations of clean room equipment; machine setup and adjustments, equipment operation, and maintaining operating schedule. \nStart and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance production. \nPerform visual and gauge-specific quality inspections of parts, and make corrective actions as required. Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using inspection tools. \nPerform basic machine preventive maintenance on equipment. \nPerform production inventory counts. \nMaintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times. \nPerform all work in a safe manner; use proper lock-out procedures during repairs or machine adjustments. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and make certain that all safety equipment is in proper working order. \nPerform these and other related duties as assigned or directed. \nActively participate in communication and WAVE culture. \nIn addition to the above general responsibilities, a clean room operator must preserve a safe work environment and work in a safe manner following all safety SOPs.\nMeasures of Effectiveness; including, but not limited to:\nSafety - OSHA rate, compliance to regulations/policies, evidence of risk reduction, engagement in 8-Step Safety Process, near-miss reporting \nQuality - Timely and accurate quality reporting, customer claims, quarantined product, ability to recognize defects and implement corrective actions through visual inspection while machine is in operation \nProductivity - Scrap %, PE%, downtime %, troubleshooting \nCommunication - Shift handoff and line preparation, inventory management, Gemba, kaizen event participation \nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED \nPreferred; knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment, or similar \nPreferred; previous job training as Level 2 Packout Operator \nAble to lift a maximum of 40 pounds \nAble to stand 8-10 hours per day at assigned work area \nBackground check required \nWorthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefit package that includes, but not limited to: health, dental and life insurances, vacation, quarterly profit sharing, and a 401(K) Plan.\nWAVE is an equal opportunity employer.
