We'll provide training on our equipment and processes.\nPay: Starting at $22/hour, with potential for higher starting pay based on experience\nShift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM-10:00 PM\nTraining: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM-2:00 PM for approximately 1-2 months\nWhy Join Tempel Steel?\nCompetitive starting pay with opportunities for performance-based increases\nMedical, dental, and vision benefits starting Day 1\n401(k) with company contribution and employee match\nPaid vacation and holidays\nTuition reimbursement\nHands-on training to develop specialized manufacturing skills\nA team-oriented workplace focused on safety and quality\nWhat You'll Do\nLearn to set up and operate specialized welding and core assembly equipment.\nLoad, unload, and position materials and components.\nRead and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.\nUse measuring tools and perform quality inspections.\nOperate grinding and finishing equipment to meet quality standards.\nUse hoists and material-handling equipment to position workpieces.\nRecord inspection results and follow established quality procedures.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience.\nMechanical aptitude and an interest in learning specialized equipment.\nAbility to read blueprints and use measuring tools, or willingness to develop these skills through training.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.\nAbility to follow instructions and established safety procedures.\nDependability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.\nAbility to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWelding experience is a plus, but not required.\nWork Schedule & Training\nThis is a 2nd-shift position working 2:00 PM-10:00 PM.
