You’ll have experience in the below engineering areas:\nA broad knowledge of software development, including planning and conceptualization phase to the development phase, and ability to identify optimal engineering solutions\nAbility to create cooperative relationships with other hardware and software engineers\nWork independently to complete tasks to completion\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nWorking together with other teams, define requirements, functional design, implement, and validate solutions\nEngineer and support the necessary toolchains and infrastructures for coding and testing\nEnsure software quality required for mass-production development\nReport to the manager in charge of HMI application development, and come to our office 3 days per week following our hybrid work policy\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n3+ years developing embedded software using C or C++\nExperience supporting other programmers and leading software implementation\nBusiness-level communication and writing skills in both Japanese and English\nNICE TO HAVES\nExperience in production-level software engineering, such as mobile, web, or desktop applications\nExperience in HMI development or interface development\nExperience developing control software for cockpit ECUs such as instrument clusters, heads-up displays, and multimedia systems\nExperience developing for Software Defined Vehicles (SDVs)\nExperience in product development or development environment setup utilizing machine learning or AI\nKnowledge of automotive industry standards such as functional safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF\nProject management experience with Agile/Scrum\nExperience communicating directly with diverse internal and external teams to understand and share requirements, specifications, and technical
