We work closely with users and operators in the communities where our services are deployed, and translate those insights into products that create measurable value in collaboration with our Business, Design, and Engineering teams.\nFor more information about Woven City, please visit: https://www.woven-city.global/\nWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?\nWe are looking for a Frontend Engineer who can independently drive the design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of the frontend for a MaaS product currently in the development and validation stage. You will create intuitive, accessible experiences by understanding the needs, workflows, and environments of both mobility service users and those who provide and operate the services.\nYou should have development experience with technologies such as React and TypeScript, with the ability to design and implement reusable UI components, integrate APIs, and manage UI state. We value the ability to choose appropriate implementation approaches that balance rapid development during validation with maintainability, future feature expansion, and integration with other services.\nWorking closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Business teams, you will translate ambiguous requirements and operational challenges into concrete interfaces, interactions, and functionality. We expect you to propose improvements while communicating technical feasibility and constraints, and to enhance usability, accessibility, rendering performance, and error handling through testing and code reviews.\nWe are looking for someone who embraces Genchi Genbutsu-going to the source and learning directly from actual service use and operations-and translates user feedback and usage data into continuous improvement. work.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nWork with partners and Toyota related MaaS services to develop frontend software and UI/UX specifications for the Mobility Service Controller\nWork with software engineers to define functions specifications, interfaces etc.\nCreate and document reusable UI components using React and Typescript\nRigorously test UI components for defects and identify edge cases when working inside of the larger design system\nPerform software document, code and test reports reviews\nBuild and promote a process continuously to improve specification documents and code\nCollaborative, inclusive and respectful of each team member\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n3+ years of experience working in front end using modern js libraries/frameworks, specifically React and Typescript\n3+ years of experience working with essential front end languages like HTML, CSS/SASS/CSS-in-JS, and vanilla JavaScript\nExperience working with modern development tools and cloud infrastructure (containerization, CI/CD, AWS, etc.)\nExperience in software verification and validation of UI applications\nExperience in software architecture design of web applications\nBusiness-level Japanese language skills, conversational English or above and work experience at a Japanese company\nNICE TO HAVES\nExperience in Business/System developing related to mobility services\nBoth agile and
