This is a newly established role with a unique opportunity to build, implement, and operate core treasury processes from the ground up in close collaboration with the Group Treasurer.\nYou will be the sole Treasury representative in our Budapest SSC, working independently while closely connected to the broader Group Finance organization. The role reports directly to the Group Treasurer based in Sweden, with regular interaction across international stakeholders.\nYou will play a key role in ensuring strong liquidity control, accurate treasury accounting, and reliable financial insights, while helping scale treasury operations to support the Group’s international growth.\nWhat you’ll do\nCash & Liquidity Management\nDrive and improve group-wide cash forecasting\n\nManage liquidity across cash pools, including sweeps and funding\n\nEstablish and run an intercompany netting process\n\nMonitor intercompany loans, internal interest, and cash pool balances\n\nOptimize liquidity allocation to maximize interest income and minimize borrowing costs\n\nTreasury System (TMS)\nOwn and develop the Treasury Management System (TMS)\n\nManage workflows for cash, FX, loans, and treasury accounting\n\nDrive continuous automation and process improvements\n\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nEnsure accurate accounting of treasury transactions (FX, loans, hedging, cash pooling)\n\nPerform month-end activities (FX revaluation, accruals, reconciliations)\n\nRisk & Control\nValidate FX trades and monitor compliance with Financial Policy\n\nTrack key risk metrics (e.g. hedge ratios, VaR, counterparty risk)\n\nEnsure strong internal controls and governance across treasury activities\n\nPayments & Administration\nExecute treasury-related payments (FX, loans, interest, funding)\n\nMaintain bank access, mandates, and treasury master data\n\nSupport KYC processes and banking relationships\n\nEnsure proper documentation and audit readiness\n\nAct as the link between Group Treasury and local finance teams\n\nSupport subsidiaries in treasury processes and policies\n\nWhat makes this role exciting\nBuild & run: Shape processes while operating them day-to-day\n\nHigh impact: Direct exposure to senior stakeholders across the Group\n\nOwnership: Lead key initiatives like intercompany netting and TMS development\n\nScalability: Design treasury operations for a growing international business\n\nWho you are\n5+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury\n\nStrong knowledge of treasury accounting and financial reporting\n\nExperience with cash management, liquidity planning, and cash pooling\n\nProven track record with intercompany financing and netting processes\n\nFamiliar with FX, hedging instruments, and interest rate products\n\nHands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS)\n\nAdvanced Excel and strong analytical skills\n\nComfortable working independently in a “build from scratch” environment\n\nAbout us\ngroup.one is a leading European provider of online presence, cloud hosting, and digital marketing services.
