We're committed to fostering a culture of creativity, belonging and continuous learning, attracting and developing the brightest talent, and providing exciting career opportunities that help our people grow. \n\nFor more information, visit WPP.com.\n\nDepartment: Treasury\nReporting To: Manager - Treasury\nJob Location: Mumbai\nEducation Qualification Required: B Com/M Com\nNumber of Years of Experience Required: 2-4Yrs\nSummary:\nThe Treasury Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash flow, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls and regulations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDaily:\n Cash Management:\nPrepare and share daily cash position reports with OpCo and regional teams.\nReport cluster and cash balances to GL and Treasury Manager.\nManage fund flow and cash flow, including loan disbursements, payments, rollovers, and follow-ups.\nShare bank debits with the Payments team and credits with the Collection team.\nShare bank statements (collections) with relevant teams.\n Accounting and Reporting:\nAccount for and approve treasury-related entries and share with the GL team for posting.\nPrepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRSs).\nFollow up with Collection and Payment teams to resolve open items in BRS.\nArrange entries for Conversion of EEFC balances to INR as needed.\nTransaction Processing:\nPrepare fund transfer letters, dial online transactions, and prepare checks for manual transfers.\nProvide inward remittance purpose to banks for accurate credit allocation.\nWeekly:\nPrepare and share weekly cash flow forecasts.\nSubmit weekly cash reports to WPP Group Treasury.\nMonthly:\nPrepare and review intercompany cash pooling workings, entries, and payments, ensuring compliance with SOX controls.\nPrepare Balance Sheet schedules (intercompany, expense, and income).\nGenerate stale cheque schedules.\nObtain balance confirmations and user access reports from banks.\nQuarterly:\nObtain bank mandates from banks.\nYearly:\nEnsure smooth dividend payout.\nManage timely renewal of LEI code.\nAs and When Required:\nHandle documentation and setup for new account openings, bank mandate updates, net banking document execution, and signatory maintenance.\nMaintain Board Resolutions as per OpCo or WPP SSC Treasury instructions.\nRespond to audit queries (SOX, Statutory, Income Tax, Internal).\nPerform other treasury activities as required.\nMandatory Responsibilities:\nComply with all Treasury Controls (SOX Controls) and CAS Controls.\nWho you are:\nYou're open: we are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
