This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine deep technical expertise with people leadership, guiding a team of engineers to build scalable, secure and high-performing integration solutions across our technology ecosystem.\nYou'll be the technical lead for the Azure based integration platform and services, driving engineering excellence, supporting the growth of your team, and helping to evolve the way we build and deliver software. Working closely with Product, Architecture and Engineering leaders, you'll play a key role in turning business needs into highly resilient, enterprise-grade solutions used across WPP.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLead the design and delivery of Azure-based applications and integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with architectural standards.\nAct as the technical lead for Azure API Management and integration services across the Atlas platform.\nChampion engineering best practice, including SDLC, CI/CD, code quality, testing, automation, agentic/AI-assisted coding and continuous improvement.\nMentor, coach and develop engineers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.\nPartner closely with Product, Architecture and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.\nDrive technical decision-making, manage risks and ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives\nDelivering on multiple high-profile, concurrent integration projects serving large scale internal and client initiatives\nWhat you'll need:\nEssential experience\nStrong experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.\nExpertise across Azure serverless and integration technologies, including API Management, Logic Apps, Function Apps and Event Grid.\nExperience developing with Python and/or Node.js.\nExperience with containerisation technologies.\nExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.\nExperience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design.\nExperience with Git-based development practices and workflows.\nProven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML\nNice to have\nExperience working with AI services and cloud-native AI technologies in Azure or AWS.\nPractical application of SOLID principles and Test-Driven Development (TDD).\nWho you are:\nYou're open: we are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
