This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely month-end close, while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration across Finance teams.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nPerform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in line with defined timelines.\nEnsure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.\nPrepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.\nMaintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for internal and external audits.\nSupport financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying unusual transactions or trends.\nLiaise with other Finance functions (PTP, OTC, Treasury, Tax) to resolve accounting issues.\nFollow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport ad-hoc accounting and reporting requests as required.\nWho you'll be working with:\nFinance Shared Services and Record-to-Report (RTR) teams\nOther Finance functions, including PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax\nInternal and external auditors\nFinance stakeholders across the business\nWhat you'll need:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nPrevious experience in an accounting or RTR role within a Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).\nProven experience performing intercompany reconciliations.\nSolid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).\nExperience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Maconomy, or similar).\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.\nClear and professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.\nAbility to work under supervision, follow detailed SOPs and operate within review cycles.\nFluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.\nWho you are:\nYou're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
