The role is accountable for driving cash collection performance, managing client and OpCo escalations, ensuring strong governance and SOX compliance, and leading a team of Credit Controllers to achieve Group cash and AR targets\nWhat you'll be doing:\nCollections & Cash Management\nDrive cash collections performance across assigned market portfolio and keeping NWC favourable.\nResolve aged debt (>60 days), high-risk accounts, disputes, and reconciliations.\nEnsure daily cash identification and same-day allocation including cheques.\nLead weekly and monthly cash forecasting and variance analysis\nRecommend monthly doubtful debt provisions.\nClient, OpCo & Stakeholder Management\nAct as senior escalation point for clients, OpCos, Billing, Treasury, and Finance.\nLead client and OpCo review meetings.\nNegotiate payment terms and settlement agreements.\nProvide clear management reporting to senior stakeholders.\nTeam Leadership & Performance Management\nLead and develop Credit Controllers / Senior Credit Controllers.\nEnsure consistent use of systems, trackers, and documentation standards.\nMonitor KPIs, quality of output, and support development plans.\nControls, Compliance & Governance\nEnsure compliance with Group Credit Policy and SOX controls.\nMaintain integrity of AR notes and dispute documentation.\nPrevent unauthorized reversals, write-offs, or adjustments.\nReporting & Process Improvement\nWeekly debtor reviews and monthly management reports.\nOwn cash forecasts and performance reporting.\nAct as AR/Collections SME for system and process enhancements.\nWhat you'll need:\nLocation, Vikhroli, Mumbai (WFO)\nShift - Nigh Shift (6.30PM onwards) \nGraduate/Post Graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred).\n15+ years Credit Collections experience within a multinational organisation\nPrior people-management or mentoring experience is MUST\nEnergetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere to deadlines in a timely manner\nStrong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation.\nCollection exposure to international clients is must.\nProficiency in excel and word is required.\nCommercially focused with a strong Client service approach\nConfidence in dealing and building relationships both internally and externally\nWell organised with strength in prioritising\nFlexible attitude to achieve results\nWho you are:\nYou're open: we are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
