The role provides leadership to the RTR team while\npartnering with Finance stakeholders to drive operational excellence, standardization, and\ncontinuous improvement.\nThe key responsibilities of the Manager - RTR are:\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting functions:\n* End to end management of the month-end and year-end closing processes and\nreporting requirements including but not limited to:\n* Management of general ledger and all entries and account reconciliations in accordance with the group accounting policy.\n* Monitoring adherence to the month-end close period to ensure duties are performed efficiently and effectively.\n* Preparation of management and submission of financial reports in accordance with the group reporting timetable.\n* Ensure compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, GST, and employment taxes.\n* Support the corporate reporting to prepare financial statements, financial reports and other annual external compliance reports.\n* Oversee issue resolution to business or corporate queries pertaining to the financial accounting and reporting of results.\n* Support the development and maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.\n* Establish effective working relationships with Corporate Finance leaders and division leaders.\n* Manage the integrity of the Financial Accounting & Reporting function in accordance with Sarbanes & Oxley Control processes (SOX).\n* Coordinate and manage the annual external and internal audit cycles including planning, timelines, information management and responding to requests.\n* Leadership of and/or participation in ad hoc and continuous improvement projects.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\n* Work with corporate finance & division leaders to prepare the annual budget, monthly and quarterly rolling forecast (RF) processes for head office and division leaders including but not limited to providing strategic target setting/guidance, preparation of templates, commentary and management presentations for submission to Group.\n* Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances\nBusiness Partnering\n* Primarily responsible for financial leadership, reporting, driving growth, and ensuring controls are in place for head office\n* Working closely with Senior Finance Manager for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting\n* Early identification of warning signs (variances)\nSkills and qualifications\n* Qualified CA / Semi-Qualified CA with 8-11 years' experience in similar role/s with responsibilities managing internal and external stakeholders\n* Excellent technical accounting skills\n* Strong technology skills including expertise in MS Excel, database applications and various ERP systems\n* A strong client service approach, quality control is key\n* Confident in managing and building relationships both internally and externally\n* Excellent written and oral communication skills - articulate\n* High level of accuracy and attention to detail\n* Ability to deliver outcomes with minimal direct supervision\nWho you are:\nYou're open: we are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
