Connected through WPP Open and powered by Open Intelligence, clients see exactly where, how, and why their media investment is working.\nFor more information, visit wppmedia.com.\nAgentic Design Lead, WPP Media Australia\nAs an Agentic Design Lead, you will sit at the intersection of AI strategy, workflow design, and team enablement - turning our client and agency needs into practical, governed AI agent use cases delivered through WPP Open and leading enterprise AI tooling.\nThis is a non-traditional, “tech-fluent” consulting role: you don’t need to be a deep engineer, but you must be exceptional at translating business problems into AI solutions, orchestrating the right experts, and embedding solutions into day-to-day marketing workflows.\nYou will work in close partnership with:\nClients (marketers and marketing ops leaders) to identify and prioritise high-value use cases for AI Agent deployment.\nData science, analytics consultants, and data engineers to deliver feasible, measurable, safe delivery.\nWPP Open Product teams to shape Agent Hub adoption, governance, patterns, and roadmap alignment across WPP Media AU.\nInternal WPP teams to drive adoption and change management\nThe Agentic Design Lead will play a critical role in ensuring WPP Media moves from fragmented AI experimentation to scaled, governed, commercially impactful AI adoption.\nThis role is central to embedding AI into how marketing is delivered, turning capability into competitive advantage.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect High-Value AI Use Cases & Workflow Change\nLead structured discovery with clients and internal teams to identify, size and prioritise AI agent opportunities across strategy, creative development, media planning/activation, analytics, reporting and marketing operations.\nTranslate business problems into clear agent blueprints, including:\nInputs and required context\nDecision logic and reasoning patterns\nData/tool dependencies\nHuman-in-the-loop checkpoints\nGovernance and escalation paths\nSuccess metrics and value definition\nEnsure each agent use case is grounded in measurable commercial or operational value.\nDesign Workflow Integration (Not Just Chat Interfaces)\nEmbed agents into real workflows: briefing, planning, QA, reporting, approvals and optimisation, rather than positioning them as standalone tools.\nDesign repeatable workflow patterns that balance automation with expert oversight.\nPartner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are usable, adopted and scalable.\nBe the Bridge Between Client, Consulting & Product\nAct as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders: simplifying complex AI concepts into clear recommendations and pragmatic next steps.\nOrchestrate cross-functional collaboration between consulting, data science, analytics and engineering teams.\nProvide structured feedback to WPP Open product teams on adoption, friction points, governance needs and roadmap priorities.\nHelp transition successful bespoke agents into scalable Agent Hub assets.\nDrive Measurable Value & Commercial Outcomes\nDefine and track value metrics such as time saved, throughput improvements, quality uplift, error reduction, decision confidence and performance impact.\nSupport commercial growth by identifying expansion opportunities and new AI-led service propositions.\nEnable Responsible & Governed AI Adoption\nEnsure all agents align with enterprise-grade privacy, data handling and responsible AI standards.\nDesign governance models that enable speed without compromising client safety or brand integrity.\nWhat You'll Bring\nTech-Fluent Strategic Thinker\n\nBackground in consulting, advertising, marketing technology or strategy.
