In this role it will be critical to embrace WPP & WPP Media’s shared core values:\nBe Extraordinary by Leading Collectively to Inspire transformational Creativity.\nCreate an Open environment by Balancing People and Client Experiences by Cultivating Trust.\nLead Optimistically by Championing Growth and Development to Mobilize the Enterprise.\nPurpose of Job: This is an entry level media planning position whose purpose is to provide support to the senior planners in the group, contribute to overall client service and assist in the management of plan executions.\nKey Accountabilities \nSupport the planning team with media costings, calling vendors, reviewing contracts and IOs to ensure they match our budgets\nResponsible for campaign maintenance, entering media into prisma, trafficing all media assets \nFilling in tactical planning report for the finance team\nActive involvement in budget control reports in a supporting role, and client billing\nEffectively work with our internal teams to ensure that client activity is in good order\nAssist with media buy briefs, purchase authorizations and CPE set up with finance\nAssist with Post campaign reporting\nSkills and Behaviour: \nDetail, accuracy and mathematical competency a must\nStrong computer skills with a particular emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint\nAbility to manage and meet multiple demands within tight timelines\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nWork well in group environment, but still able to work independently\nDesire to develop and excel in their media career and a passion for all things media\nEducation and Experience\nPost-secondary diploma, specialization in Marketing and/or advertising an asset\nCollege or University education preferred\nInternship/Co-op in a related field is an asset\nLife at WPP Media & Benefits\nOur passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and we’re just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
