If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.\nWhat does Financial Analyst do at WPP Production?\nReporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will play a vital role in financial reporting and operations. The Financial Analyst will work with other Analysts in the team to ensure that all accounting entries are posted correctly, review for missing entries, and check entries for accuracy. Responsibilities include assisting with all BFC reporting packages for all North America entities such as monthly Actuals reporting, Forecast & Budgeting, conducting Operational KPI analysis, and addressing various financial ad hoc requests for WPP Production via the WPP Production Global team or the WPP teams. The Financial Analyst will assist with variance explanations and comparing actual results against prior years and forecasts. The Financial Analyst must be able to organize and make sense of large project scopes, datasets, workflows, and assist with the forecasting and reporting for all WPP requirements. This position will assist with improving the internal controls environment (SOX).\n\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with reviewing financial schedules within our accounting and enterprise systems to ensure all data has been entered correctly\nRun/Prepare reports for Fixed Assets ledger, depreciation, and prepaid accounts\nPrepare and submit journal entries as needed\nAssist with any required tasks related with internal controls, SOX, IFRS, GAAP, company financial policies, and audits\nReview invoices and operating expenses to ensure that they have been posted correctly, or accrued for as needed\nRun/prepare balance sheet reports to assist with detailed monthly review of all balance sheets for accuracy\nRun/Prepare reports used for monthly expenses incurred vs. prior 12-month trend, and preparation of accruals or reclasses as needed\nAssist with month end, the quarter-end and year-end close schedules/processes\nPrepare monthly reports that will be reviewed with department heads to assess actuals vs. budget variances\nAssist with running/preparing timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis, and operational KPI tracking\nAssist with variance analysis and explanations research\nAssist with updating and maintaining the backup files for yearly budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and prior year adjustments for all North America business units\nInput yearly budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and prior year adjustments for all North America business units into our financial reporting systems\nSupport the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting requirements\nAd hoc reporting and financial operations considered necessary by management\n\nRequirements: \nBackground in Accounting and FP&A a must\nStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nConfident presentation & communication skills, comfortable working with all levels of management\nProactive and results driven problem solver.\nThrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical, financial modelling, budgeting, planning, and analysis experience required \nExpert Excel skills\nStrong forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills\nIndustry relatable experience\nResults driven problem solver\nExperience within a billable industry is preferred \nThe base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $100,000.
