If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.\nWhat does a QA Engineer do at WPP Production:\nWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer totest websites, platforms, and other deliverables. Primary responsibilities include executing test plans, updating test reports, debugging and writing defect reports, verifying fixes, developing test automation scripts, and building automation solutions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop and execute tests for testing web and mobile applications\nMaintain and improve existing automation frameworks\nReview technical requirements, author detailed test plan, and test case documentation\nIdentify, isolate and replicate software defects, research root causes, and debug issues\nWrite detailed and easy to understand bug reports and verify fixes\nCommunicate projects risks based on test execution\nConduct visual tests on desktop and mobile devices along with execution of automation tests and analyzing of bugs from automated reports.\nRequirements:\n4+ years of professional development experience\nStrong problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills\nExperience with automation scripts using tools like, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, PlayWright, Appium, Protractor, Mocha, Jasmine, TestNG.\nGood understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript, XML, JSON and REST APIs\nGood understanding of modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, Angular\nExperience with databases, API, backend systems, and mobile testing (iOS/Android)\nReview functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate any QA issues and push for a suitable resolution in a timely manner\nExperience with planning, scheduling, and performing QA activities\nCoding experience with object oriented programming languages, preferably JavaScript\nExperience with GitLab and continuous integration build system such as Jenkins\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience\nPreferred Skills:\nCoding experience with object oriented programming languages\nFamiliarity with macOS, iOS, iPadOS\nWhy work here: \n At WPP Production, you’ll help shape the future of content production at a truly global scale.
