If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.\nWhat does aSenior New Business Manager do at WPP Production?\nThe role\nThe Senior New Business Manager plays a critical role in driving growth for WPP Production, leading complex, high-value opportunities end-to-end and shaping how we respond to and win new business.\nThis is a strategic and creative role, responsible for defining the narrative, positioning and overall solution behind each pitch. You will take ownership of how we translate client challenges into clear, differentiated and commercially compelling responses.\nWorking closely with senior stakeholders across WPP Production and the wider WPP network, you will lead the development of integrated proposals - bringing together strategy, operations, creative and production into a single, cohesive story.\nYou will also help shape the strategic approach for each opportunity, ensuring the structure, messaging and positioning reflect WPP Production’s proposition and competitive advantage. You will balance creative thinking with commercial understanding - clearly articulating how our operating models work, why they are effective, and the value they deliver for clients.\nThis is an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and complex opportunities in the industry, with real influence over how we position ourselves and how we win.\nKey areas of responsibility\nLead and own high-value opportunities end-to-end, from initial brief through to submission and presentation\nDefine the pitch narrative, positioning and “red thread”, ensuring a clear, compelling & cohesive story throughout\nDesign and articulate client solutions, including operating models and value propositions, clearly demonstrating how they work and the value they deliver\nTranslate complex inputs into clear, structured and persuasive client-facing responses\nLead the development of high impact written content, including pitch decks, RFI/RFP responses and presentations, owning the narrative across all content\nPresent and support client-facing sessions, including credentials presentations and pitch meetings\nLead and align senior stakeholders around a single, cohesive response\nBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders across WPP Production, WPP OpCos and partners, enabling effective collaboration across opportunities\nEnsure all outputs are strategically strong, consistent and clearly differentiated\nCollaborate across WPP agencies on integrated, multi-disciplinary opportunities\nContribute to and help shape commercial strategy, including pricing narrative and value framing\nMonitor competitor activity and industry trends to ensure WPP Production’s positioning remains competitive\nIdentify opportunities to improve & drive innovation in how we approach, structure and deliver pitches\nMentor and support New Business Managers and Executives, raising standards across the team\n\nWhat good looks like (key requirements)\n7+ years’ experience in a new business or client growth roles within a creative, production or agency environment\nExceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to shape clear, persuasive narratives from complex inputs\nStrong strategic thinking, able to translate client challenges into structured, compelling solutions and responses\nProven experience leading complex pitch or proposal processes end-to-end\nConfident communicator, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders\nHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple high-value opportunities and large volumes of content simultaneously\nStrong commercial capability, with experience shaping proposals and contributing to pricing approach, value framing and commercial models\nProactive and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to identify opportunities and deliver outcomes\nCollaborative in approach, able to bring together multiple stakeholders and disciplines into a single aligned response\nStrong understanding of the advertising production landscape and broader marketing ecosystem\nCurious and engaged, with an interest in innovation and the evolving content and production landscape\nStrong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel, with a good eye for structure and presentation\n#LI - HYBRID \n#LI - RH1\nWhy work here: \n At WPP Production, you’ll help shape the future of content production at a truly global scale.
