In this role, you will be responsible for managing and scaling data products, driving data pipeline development, and ensuring the availability, quality, and security of our data assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, product managers, and software engineers to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers.\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines and architectures.\nOversee the development and implementation of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data lake solutions.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.\nEnsure data quality, consistency, and security across all data engineering workflows.\nDefine best practices and standards for data engineering and promote their adoption.\nDrive continuous improvement in data infrastructure and tooling, leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark,dbt).\nCollaborate with PMs to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet business goals.\nWork with data governance and compliance teams to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance.\nStay updated with the latest data engineering trends and technologies and evaluate their applicability.\nWhat you'll need:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n7+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management position.\nStrong expertise in data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing solutions.\nProficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools like Apache Spark, Python, etc.\nExperience with relational and NoSQL databases.\nSolid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, engineering frameworks\nProven ability to lead and scale engineering teams and manage cross-functional projects.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience with agile development methodologies.\nWho you are:\nYou're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
