Our work seeks to shape a future where cities work better for everyone.\nJob Highlight\nThe Program Communications Associate will work closely with WRI India’s Road Safety team under the Integrated Transport pillar. This role entails developing strategic communication products to convey the impact of WRI India’s work on road safety. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating engaging social media content and must have design and video editing skills along with excellent skills in English writing, editing, and proofreading.\n\nWhat you will do:\nContent Creation (60%)\nDevelop creative communication products for different formats (like short videos, infographics, carousels) for different WRI India channels - WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.\nRepurpose existing research products (like research reports, decks, blogs) into engaging communications products for strategic digital media messaging.\nDocument project milestones and outcomes and showcase them across channels.\nAssist production of podcasts, webinars, reels and explore other new-age formats to ensure wide dissemination and engagement on relevant platforms.\nDevelop press releases, media pitches, and support blogs/articles writing for internal/external publications.\nEvent Outreach and Support (40%)\nProvide on-ground support to conferences, workshops, and other engagement efforts and document proceedings for digital/offline outreach and donor reporting.\nFacilitate internal coordination and lend end-to-end communication support for seamless execution of on-ground convenings of different scales. \nPrepare presentation decks/brochures/flyers/event collateral and other engaging communication material to be used in convenings.\nSupport teams in developing reading materials (concept notes, agendas, etc.) for convenings/workshops.\nManage end-to-end vendor payments, contracts and other backend institutional processes. \nWhat you will need:\n2-4 years of full-time experience working as a communication coordinator.\nKnowledge of road safety and mobility will be preferred.\nExcellent writing and editing skills in English and familiarity with Marathi is preferred.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nCapability to communicate complex ideas in simple language.\nAbility to meet stringent deadlines, manage multiple project deadlines.\nEnthusiasm, flexibility, technical curiosity, and willingness to learn.\nUnderstanding of how events are organized and basic troubleshooting capabilities.\nProficiency in design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or other AV/ animation software) is preferred. \nPotential Salary and Benefits:INR 9,50,000 to 12,00,000 Per Annum\nSalary shall be commensurate with experience and skills.
