data analysis, competitor research\nIdentify gaps and opportunities before they're obvious\nMake prioritization calls based on user impact and business value\nBuild & Ship\nPrototype working solutions using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit)\nWork with engineers to refine and ship production-ready features\nMove from idea to testable prototype in hours, not weeks\nMaintain a high quality bar while moving fast\nResearch & Competitive Intelligence\nTrack competitors obsessively: new features, positioning, pricing moves\nStay ahead of AI search platform changes (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI)\nSynthesize trends into actionable product insights\nShare intelligence across the team regularly\nData & Optimization\nLive in product analytics tools daily (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)\nDefine and track key KPIs for your features\nRun experiments and measure impact\nUse data to kill features that aren't working\nUX & User Advocacy\nThink from the user's standpoint, not the PM's\nObsess over friction points and edge cases\nPush for simplicity and clarity in every interaction\nTest with real users early and often\nCross-Functional Work\nPartner with engineering, design, PM\nYou prototype solutions, not just document requirements\nYou use AI tools to move at 10x speed\nYou have enough engineering background to be dangerous\nObsessed with competitors and market shifts\nBalances speed with quality\nTakes ownership of outcomes, not just outputs\nMust-Haves\n3+ years in product at a fast-moving startup (AI company preferred)\nHands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)\nSome software engineering background (you can read and write code)\nStrong UX instincts: you think like a user\nData-driven: you use analytics tools daily, not
