And we’ve been doing this for a long time: we’re proud to be our communities’ trusted problem-solvers since 1982.\nAre You a Good Fit?\nOur ideal candidate is innovative, relational, and honest.\nIf you live for those “aha!” moments, you thrive in team settings, and you hold yourself to a high standard of work and ethics - we have a feeling you’ll like it here.\nYour Responsibilities\nServe as the primary point of contact for client representatives, maintaining professional and effective communication at all times.\nOversee multiple construction and maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.\nCoordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Safety, and Estimating to ensure alignment across all project functions.\nDevelop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules, including look-ahead planning.\nIdentify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize impact on safety, schedule, and cost.\nMonitor and manage project performance, including productivity, cost tracking, and progress reporting.\nEnsure all work is performed in compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and client expectations.\nVisit job sites regularly to assess progress, provide direction, and ensure accountability within field teams.\nDirectly oversee Foremen and field personnel, providing leadership, mentorship, and development to improve performance and accountability.\nCoordinate workforce planning, including staffing levels, scheduling, and allocation of manpower and equipment.\nPartner with Human Resources and company leadership on personnel decisions, development, and performance management.\nLead by example with professionalism, integrity, and alignment with WRS values.\nYour Experience & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the ability to manage electronic documentation, reporting, scheduling, and project management software; experience with HCSS (HeavyJob, HeavyBid) or similar systems is a plus.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions, and to work through problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nStrong leadership, delegation, and workforce planning skills, with the ability to mentor and develop field leadership.\nDemonstrated commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and professionalism in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.\nAbility to sit, walk, stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms as required on an active jobsite; ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; close and far vision required.
