With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation to reach more people, more effectively.\nAs an Electroacoustic Simulation Correlation Intern, you will partake in evaluating the confidence level of electroacoustic simulations to predict measurement results for R&D electroacoustic design. As part of this role, you will be exposed to a variety of different functions, such as being presented the opportunity to conduct controlled parameter sweeps measurements and presentation of findings to R&D team through formal means.\nWhat you will do\nDesign and build a repeatable measurement setup for hearing aid transfer functions\n\nRun controlled parameter sweeps measurements\n\nQuantify measurement uncertainty properly\n\nSeparate the airborne path from the structure-borne path, including vibration measurement (laser Doppler vibrometry) on the device housing\n\nBuild a Python/Matlab analysis pipeline: instrument control, data ingestion, transfer function and maximum-stable-gain extraction, and automated comparison against simulation output\n\nSit in on the FEM and lumped-element modelling work to understand the measurements they are being tested against\n\nPresent findings to the R&D team.\n\nWhat you bring\nCurrently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Acoustics fields\n\nFamiliarity with waves, vibration and linear systems\n\nComfort with transfer functions, complex impedance, and what phase actually means\n\nWorking competence in Python or MATLAB for data analysis\n\nCareful, patient hands in the lab\n\nAbility to commit full-time for at least 4 months.\n\nWho we are\nAt WSA, we provide innovative hearing aids and hearing health services.\nTogether with our 12,000 colleagues in 130 countries, we invite you to help unlock human potential by bringing back hearing for millions of people around the world.\nWith us, you will become part of a truly global company where we care for one another, welcome diversity and celebrate our successes.\nSounds wonderful?
