This role will support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex civil and technology litigation matters, particularly for internet companies.\nThis position is available as a hybrid or mostly remote work schedule.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with gathering and compiling support documents for filings\nAssist attorneys with preparing and filing pleadings and other court documents in various jurisdictions across state and federal courts, including appellate courts\nAssist with Bluebook formatting, cite-checking, and shepardizing case law\nFamiliarity with civil procedures and local, state and federal court rules\nAbility to perform docket and legal research in Lexis, Westlaw, SEC, PACER, and similar resources\nAssist with the collection, review, production, and organization of discovery materials\nProficiency with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity), and ability to supervise vendor work\nAbility to use AI-assisted technologies appropriately and responsibly and ability to adapt to AI-assisted workflows\nManage discovery responses, subpoenas, and deposition preparation\nPrepare and maintain various indices and logs for case teams related to discovery and other chronologies\nManage case calendars and deadlines (as a supplement to the calendar department)\nAssist with hearing/trial preparation and logistics, including preparation of witness files, management of exhibits, setting up trial space, and attending trial in-person, as required\nInteracting with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, opposing counsel and court clerks\nRequirements:\n7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal is required\nA college degree and/or paralegal certificate is required\nProficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, and related tools) is required\nStellar project management and organizational skills\nGreat attention to detail and ability to multitask\nGood judgment, intuition and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nReliable and dependable\nClient-focused mindset\nProfessional and composed under pressure and in fast-paced environments\nAbility to work effectively and efficiently with attorneys and staff across all levels and offices\nAbility and willingness to work overtime as needed (sometimes on short notice)\nWillingness to travel for trials and other client work if needed\nThe primary location for this job posting is in San Francisco, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:San Francisco, Palo Alto: $56.31 - $76.19 per hour.\nLos Angeles, San Diego, and all other locations: $53.50 - $72.38 per hour.The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
