You will gain valuable skills whilst helping to create outstanding dishes for special events.\nIf you’re eager to develop your culinary career with Events By Benugo then we’d love to hear from you!\nAs an Apprentice Chef, you will gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while working towards aqualification. Under the guidance of experienced Benugo chefs, you will learn essential skills, including:\nFood preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills\nWorking efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment\nUnderstanding and maintaining food hygiene, safety, and allergen regulations\nAssisting in the production of high-quality dishes for events\nLearning how to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to create healthy and delicious dishes\nSupporting stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation\n Applicants must be aged 18 or over\nA keen interest in cooking and professional catering\nGCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred) - if not already achieved, support will be provided to complete these as part of the apprenticeship\nA willingness to learn and work towards a Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship\nA strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to training\n Desirable:\nPrevious kitchen experience (not essential, but beneficial)\nA Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (if not held, training will be provided)\nKnowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene standards\n Benugo has built a culture of inclusivity & progression for all employees.
