Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Co Op Retail Logistics, Birtley - Drum industrial Estate
Salary: £12,71 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week, working 4 days over 7 between the hours of 3.00pm to 7.00pm with a flexible approach to meet the Business needs

This is a varied role that includes food preparation, serving customers, filling vending machines, stock taking and much more! You will need to multi-task and will be kept busy from the moment you arrive, there will be lots of laughs and opportunities to use your creative flair.

- Service - serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests’ needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed
- Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questions in a friendly manner
- Teamwork - collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment
- Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
- Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas
- Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
- You are a team player with great communication
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
- Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods
