Through the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, the role delivers actionable insights that support commercial decision-making, supplier performance reviews, benchmarking activities and savings opportunities. The role is responsible for developing reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using Excel, Power BI and other business systems, while monitoring market trends, commodity movements and supplier pricing to drive value across the wider business.\nKey accountabilities include:\nEngage with the wider Supply Chain teams and suppliers to support the Commercial Insight Manager in pricing analysis and insight-driven initiatives\nDesign, build and enhance dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights aligned with business objectives\nUtilise Excel, Power BI and other systems to cleanse, transform and analyse data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency and high-quality reporting\nSupport external benchmarking activities using internal and external data sources to provide market comparisons and practical insights\nAnalyse market intelligence, commodity trends, supplier pricing movements and inflation indicators to identify risks, opportunities and emerging trends that support commercial decision-making\nAssist in tracking and reporting key inflation indices, including Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Food Price Index (FPI), and support supplier basket rebalancing initiatives\nDeliver regular cost price reporting, forecasting and analysis, identifying key drivers of change, commercial opportunities and areas of value leakage\nSupport Procurement and Operational teams by translating complex data into clear recommendations that improve commercial performance, margin and decision-making\n What we want from you:\nConfident in use of MS Office suite of applications - with a focus on Excel\nProficient in Power BI;
