Laboratory Preparation and Setup\n• Prepare materials, apparatus, and/ specimens for science\nlessons and annual practical test.\n• Set up and test experimental apparatus before lessons to ensure\nfunctionality and safety.\n• Assist teachers in conducting practical lessons, practical test,\ndemonstrations, and science experiments.\n• Dismantle and clean up after science laboratory lessons,\nensuring all equipment are properly stored.\n2. Laboratory Maintenance and Housekeeping\n• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of laboratories, preparation\nrooms, and storage areas.\n• Clean and wash laboratory apparatus, glassware, and equipment\nafter use.\n• Ensure that equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in\nworking condition.\n• Assist in regular pest control, ventilation, and general upkeep of\nlaboratory areas.\n3. Safety and Compliance\n• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.\n• Keep Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals and ensure\nproper labelling of bottles and containers.\n• Assist in the safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals\nand biological waste.\n4. Inventory and Resource Management\n• Conduct simple stock-taking and update inventory records\nregularly.\n• Prepare and propose procurement of science materials and\nequipment to HOD Science/ LH Science.\n• Receive and verify delivery of items ordered and ensure proper\nstorage.\n5.
