Alongside this, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining excellent stock control skills and carry out and record any checks required on behalf of the Chef Manager or Catering Supervisor.\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\nAssist Chef manager in the preparation and cooking of food\nServe meals, snacks & drinks including taking payments.\nClean all equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.\nSupport, operate and provide service in areas including but not limited to: Serveries, Retail, Hospitality, Functions, Coffee Shops.\nEnsure all food is handled in accordance with the standards specified in the Food Safety & Quality Management System\nEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant H&S legislation and Codes of Practice.\nParticipate in ongoing professional development and training that may include off-site and occasionally overnight travel.\nEnsure all raw materials and packaging materials are stored in the correct areas of the site.\nEmbrace and actively participate in the Zero Harm culture.\nOur Ideal candidate will have the following characteristics in line with our values\nTogetherness\n· Ability to work as part of a team\n· A flexible approach to working hours\n· Be supportive of colleagues\nNurture\n· Keen to learn on the job\n· Hold Food Safety Level 2 (or be able to achieve on appointment)\nPride\n· Be honest and trustworthy\nPlanet\n· Hygienic approach and manner\n· Committed to zero harm and sustainable practices\nSkills/Knowledge/Experience Required:\nCustomer Care and Customer Service experience, preferably in a Catering environment - candidate must have the ability to communicate positively and confidently about Stafford to our consumers and clients.\nProblem solving skills, ability to see the ‘end game’ and work around particular hurdles placed at short notice.\nAbility to use and understand Cash, Cash Handling, EPOS and Cashless systems.\nPrevious Large Catering experience. (Desirable)\nPrevious responsibility for stock and cash management control (Desirable)\nAble to work independently\nHave a can-do approach\n Full, UK driving licence and have at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points.
