Investing in your development and provide ongoing training to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge to thrive in your role whilst being dedicated to ensuring your work-life balance thus enabling you to pursue your passion for hospitality while also taking care of yourself.\n Take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of department.\nManages day-to-day operations so that customer expectations of quality and standards are meet daily.\nAssist in producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on service analysis and marketing effectiveness as required.\nUnderstand related KPIs related to own department and work towards achieving or exceeding them such as Mystery Shopper audits.\nDevelops specific goals and plans to prioritise and delegate when required, organise own workload.\nMake a continuous assessment of the performance of all staff under supervision in order to establish training needs.\nManage all marketing in advance, signage is displayed correctly, and weekly menu is sent to the client in the agreed time frame.\nAdvocates sound financial/business decision making - challenge any shortfalls in budgeted GP and sales with plans in place to rectify.\nEnsure all legal compliance is followed within the department.\nDrive constant innovation with regards to product, staying up to date with trends in industry driving sustainability and provenance.\nDevelop annual marketing plan with Retail Manager.\nWorks towards achieving all financial targets/forecast and put in plans to address any shortfalls in particularly with regards to gross profit and sales.\nContinuous monitoring of financial performance such as revenue or inventory.\nEnsure excellent customer service, regularly assess customer experience and recommend improvements and act on areas of concern with Retail Manager.\nMonitoring customer feedback, handling customer complaints and resolving issues with action plans in a timely manner.\nEnsure that all are aware of their duties and standards required, pricing/labelling and menus are spelt correctly, accurate and presented professionally.\nIntroduce a comprehensive training plan for all staff within department particularly with regards to customer service, hold 1-1s and appraisals and prepare development plans for direct reports and ensure these have been completed.\nMonitor development and make recommendations for succession planning.\nPrepare training plan for customer service and ensure it is implemented.\nMaintain regular team meetings for two-way communication of targets, standards, company and client information.\nManage team with budget constraints, department annual leave and rotas.\nMotivate and lead the team - leading by example.\nEnsure the whole team are knowledgeable and motivated in their roles and the business through effective induction, accurate job descriptions and on the job training.\nActively participates in the hiring process with Retail Manager.\nAssist in ensuring that all FOH team are aware of their Health & Safety responsibility and receive the appropriate training.\nEnsure due diligence records are completed accurately and on time and filed for future reference, all accidents are reported, all legal training is completed and monitor allergen policy.\n Essential: Previous experience of managing a large team in a fast-paced food service environment\nHealth & Safety L2/3 Skills\nExcellent level of both written and spoken English\nDisplaying a ‘can do’ attitude\nOrganisational skills and ability to plan ahead\nStrong leadership and communication skills\nExceptional customer service\nMicrosoft office applications including SharePoint, Forms, OneDrive, Outlook etc\nA successful record of achieving targets and results orientated\nAbility to work under pressure with constantly changing priorities\nHaving accountability for gross profit and financial management\nAnalytical approach to problem solving\nDesirable: Understanding of ESG regulations and industry initiatives\nUnderstanding current food legislations\n Monday - Friday\nAnnual Salary: Up to £43,000\nFor almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that’s an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.\nWe need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
