The role focuses on high-quality event planning, effective communication with internal teams and suppliers, maximising up-selling opportunities, and supporting repeat business.\n116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. To prepare weekly event pack and communicate all relevant information to other departments during the pre event meetings\nMinimum 40 hours a week\n£39k salary\n10% bonus applicable across the year\nStart date - December 2026 / early 2027\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and oversee the event booking diary, ensuring all bookings are planned and delivered within venue SOPs and agreed deadlines.\n\nCoordinate and monitor event planning activities, supporting junior team members to ensure event packs, function sheets, and client requirements are completed accurately and on time.\n\nMaintain excellent client communication, handling enquiries promptly, managing event details, upselling opportunities, and building strong relationships with key accounts.\n\nLiaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to ensure the smooth planning and successful delivery of all events.\n\nLead operational communication through event sheets, daily updates, team briefings, and operational meetings to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed.\n\nWelcome clients on event days, oversee event execution, and communicate any last-minute changes to operational teams.\n\nManage deposits, invoicing, and payment processes, ensuring financial procedures are followed and events do not proceed without approved payments.\n\nEnsure compliance with all health & safety, hygiene, licensing, security, and legal requirements, while representing Searcys professionally at all times.\n\nTrain, develop, motivate, and support the events planning team, maintaining training records, driving team performance, supporting venue theming projects, and achieving team retention objectives.\n\n Proven experience in event planning within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company Is preferable\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.\nA passion for delivering exceptional events and client experiences.\nHighly organised, with
