As part of the Benugo family, we’re committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest, just as unforgettable as the museum’s treasures like the Rosetta Stone.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic kitchen delivering high-quality hospitality, events, and fine dining experiences in a corporate setting.\nSalary: up to £40,000 per annum\nShifts: 5 days out of 7, daytime\nContract: Full Time, Permanent\nAbout the Sous Chef role:\nReporting directly with the Head Chef and deputising in their absence\nWorking with the Head Chef and Group Executive Chef to develop new menu ideas and ways to improve our offerings\nEnsuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times\nEnsure the performance of the chef team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example\nOverseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef\nEnsure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard\n Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role.\nStrong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and a variety of cuisines.\nExcellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.\nAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\nExceptional attention to detail with strong organisational skills.\nPassion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food presentation.\nStrong commitment to maintaining high food quality and safety standards.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across kitchen teams.\nFlexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.\n Benugo has built a culture of inclusivity & progression for all employees.
