You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.\n Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising day-to-day electrical construction activities for OHL projects.\nInspect OHL works including tower erection, conductor and earthwire/OPGW stringing, insulator installation, earthing, and associated electrical works.\nEnsure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, Method Statements, ITPs, and project requirements.\nReview electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, Method Statements, and other technical documentation.\nConduct regular site inspections and monitor quality, progress, and HSE compliance.\nWitness and verify electrical inspections, testing, and commissioning activities as required.\nCoordinate with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.\nSupport coordination of Permits/NOCs, shutdowns, access requirements, and work permits required for electrical activities.\nMonitor contractor progress against the approved programme and report delays, risks, or technical issues to the Resident Engineer.\nMaintain and review project documentation including RFIs, NCRs, inspection requests, test reports, and material records.\nAttend progress and coordination meetings and follow up on electrical-related actions.\nEnsure compliance with applicable UAE/TAQA HSE, quality, and electrical safety requirements.\nReview as-built drawings, testing and commissioning records, handover documentation, and project close-out requirements.\nProvide technical support to the Resident Engineer/Project Manager and assist in resolving electrical construction and interface issues.\nPromote a strong culture of safety, quality, and professionalism throughout project execution\n Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field, Master's degree preferred. \nProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred. \nMinimum of 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on overhead transmission line projects. \nExtensive knowledge of transmission line design, construction, and maintenance practices, including tower configurations. \nProficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD.\nWillingness to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.\nExpertise in reinforced concrete foundations, geotechnical investigation, tower spotting, and stringing logistics. \nExcellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and mitigate project risks. \nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders and build strong client relationships. \nLeadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate project teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.\nStrong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices to ensure a safe worksite \nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
