You will be part of a team that values precision, safety, and innovation while helping shape healthier, more resilient communities.\nYour Impact\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform routine laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, and concrete in accordance with standard methods and specifications.\n\nPrepare, label, log, and manage samples to maintain accurate tracking and traceability.\n\nOperate standard materials laboratory equipment, including balances, ovens, and microscopes\n\nAccurately record observations and test results in laboratory logs, templates, and digital systems.\n\nFollow health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.\n\nSupport senior technicians, technologists, and professional staff by assisting with test setup, equipment cleaning, and general lab organization.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nPost-secondary technical diploma/degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.\n\nExposure to construction materials testing through academic labs, co-op terms, internships, or entry-level roles.\n\nFamiliarity with basic laboratory practices and materials testing equipment used for soils, aggregates, and concrete.\n\nAbility to work in a laboratory environment with repetitive testing procedures and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of routine laboratory duties.\n\nA strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, with an interest in building technical skills in construction materials testing..\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
