We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.\nOur recent projects span across a range of different sectors including but not limited to Defence, transportation, commercial and high-rise developments.\nKey responsibilities - What you’ll do\nEnsure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards - and in alignment with schedules and budgets;\nHave the opportunity to work on iconic projects within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of engineering projects.\nProject lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects.\nSupport the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents.\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes.\nProvide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the team.\nHandle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients.\nPartner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.\nWe are particularly interested in candidates who can combine technical excellence with client-facing capability, business development skills, and people leadership experience. This role is not purely a technical design position; we are looking for someone who can help grow our business, strengthen client relationships, and support the development of our team.\nExperience & Skills\nBachelor to Masters’ level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.\n12+ years of structural engineering consultancy experience in Australia within the commercial Property & Buildings market is essential.\nChartered (CPEng) status, with relevant Australian registration.\nExposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, health, retail, defence;\nStrong technical capability in the design and delivery of building projects, supported by advanced knowledge of structural analysis and design software.\nProven experience leading complex multidisciplinary projects, including responsibility for scope, program, resources, risk, quality, and project financial performance.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, identify opportunities, and generate repeat business.\nExperience preparing and leading proposals, pursuits, and business development activities.\nStrong leadership skills, including mentoring and developing engineers, managing project teams, and contributing to team growth.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.\nImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\nJoin our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
