Whether you are operating at Associate or Principal level, we will shape the role around your technical strengths, career aspirations, and long-term goals.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork as part of a national multi-disciplinary team to deliver project goals.\nProduce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nUndertake field and desktop investigations on existing electrical infrastructure for capital upgrades.\nPrepare detailed documentation and specifications for electrical components to support procurement and delivery.\nLiaise with project stakeholders including clients and vendors.\nApply technical and commercial acumen to achieve successful outcomes for projects and clients.\nDemonstrate specialist safety knowledge in areas such as protection, arc flash, earthing, hazardous areas, and machine safety principles.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nProven experience in design and delivery of projects in Water (ideal), mining, industrial or Energy sectors\n12+ years’ experience in an engineering consultancy or design role for a contractor or asset owner (water industry preferred).\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.\nChartered Engineer; RPEV certification\nDesign experience in LV and ELV systems, PLC/telemetry, PTW design, and Instrumentation and Control\nStrong understanding of standards, conceptual and detailed design, and design management of electrical infrastructure\nExcellent communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to consult effectively with clients and collaborate internally.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nAt WSP, you’ll find a workplace where you’re supported, empowered, and inspired to grow.
