This position can also be offered remotely from an agreed upon WSP USA office.\nBe involved in projects with our Program Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.\nThis Opportunity\nSupports the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects in accordance with WSP’s core values and the level of project services agreed upon in the contract by WSP and the client(s). This position is an integral member of the project team working closely with Project Management, Production and Project Services within our client’s Substation Shop. Works closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate efficient project workflows and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project objectives. Plays a key role in tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders.\nYour Impact\nCoordinates daily project activities by working closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and align with project objectives. Provide high level coordination/administrative and analytic support to client.\n\nMonitors project progress by tracking key performance indicators, identifying potential risks or delays, and reporting findings to senior team members.\n\nPrepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and project closeout reports.\n\nSupports the management of project budgets by assisting in tracking expenses, reviewing cost estimates, and ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets.\n\nHelps identify and address routine challenges during project execution, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary. Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.\n\nAssists in preparing presentations, reports, and status updates for project meetings, senior management, and clients. Facilitate, organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.\n\nExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.\n\nPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management support role within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.\n\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major, or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering firm.\n\nBasic understanding of project management principles and processes, with a focus on coordination and communication.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with basic project management software.\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nFamiliarity with relevant environmental and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.\n\nCompetent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.\n\nProficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.\n\nAbility to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.\n\nBasic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.\n\nAttention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify project risks and work collaboratively to develop solutions.\n\nProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.\n\nWSP Benefits:\nWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
