As a Billing Coordinator, you will manage billing details, prepare timely and accurate invoices, and partner with project and finance colleagues to resolve issues. This entry-level opportunity offers meaningful responsibility, exposure across the business, and substantial room for growth. Flexibility in working hours to support Western time zones may be requested.\nYour Impact\n- Set up and manage billing terms in the system for an assigned portfolio of projects and clients.\n\n- Obtain additional billing details as required to ensure billing accuracy, andescalate billing issues and/or concerns to the Regional Billing Manager.\n\n- Generate and submit invoice drafts and supportingbackupto reviewers and approvers, andmake revisions as required.\n\n- Prepare and send final invoice packages to clients within deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.\n\n- Collaborate closely with other areas of the business, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Managers, and Project Accountants, to promptly address issues and concerns.\n\n- Assess and recommend billing process improvements to the Regional Billing Manager to reduce the time required to process and deliver final invoices to clients.\n\n- Reconcile billing, complete data entry and filing, obtain and organize supporting documentation, and prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed.\n\n- Complete additional tasks as required.\n\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\n- Completed post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting.\n\n- Two years of experience in billing coordination.\n\n- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, collections, and customer service.\n\n- Current eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions.\n\n- Highly driven, committed, organized, and flexible, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\n- Self-motivated and analytical, with strong attention to detail and proven organization and problem-solving skills.\n\n- Capacity to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when dealing with internal and external clients.\n\n- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.\n\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWhy Choose WSP?
