We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our water team and take on an exciting role that blends technical expertise with innovation. In this position, you’ll work with hydraulic design software and its integration with CAD tools while creating smart automations to improve workflows across multiple platforms. You’ll collaborate with an experienced team, building on your knowledge of delivery requirements and QA processes for water engineering projects, and develop your career in a cutting-edge 3D BIM and CDE environment.\nAs a BIM Coordinator, you’ll also lead document control on various projects, set CAD and document standards, and drive efficiency through automation and streamlined processes. You will be part of a vibrant and evolving team, with an opportunity to make your mark on the future of the drainage team in WSP.\nA TYPICAL WEEK WOULD INCLUDE\nDrawing coordination and data control.\nCreation of BIM Execution Plans for projects.\nCompliance with the BIM content standards, execution plan and project workflow .\nPerforming CAD quality checks on drawings and documents.\nDeveloping workflows and improving the efficiency of the team.\nCreating templates and standard details for use of the team.\nCollaboration and coordination with other teams.\nWE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE\nIndustry experience, specific to the infrastructure drainage engineering.\nA passion for digital, BIM technology and delivery and continuous improvement\nGood communication, client handling and interpersonal skills.\nExperience in project delivery.\nExperience in 3D modelling and design coordination.\nAbility to challenge and contribute to engineering detailing.\nExperience working with EDMS solutions such as Bentley Projectwise, Autodesk BIM360 etc.\nExperience in coordinating inter-disciplinary information in a 3D environment.\nWorking knowledge of BIM standards such as PASAA 1192 and BS EN ISO 19650.\nHNC/HND/Degree in engineering or associated engineering field.\nDon’t quite meet all the criteria?
