The role offers excellent opportunities for a candidate seeking to progress their career and looking for experience, training and support with their development and future career progression.\nThe successful candidate will gain experience in the development and delivery of drainage projects through various stages of the design process, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.\nThe candidate will be required to support the preparation of designs and specifications under the supervision of more senior staff.\n Delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering river and flood related schemes;\nDeveloping outline and detailed designs for engineering flood projects including hydraulic systems, flood defences, drainage and ancillary structures etc;\n\nPreparing and supporting business cases and economics for works to protect from flooding;\n\nPreparing works information and specifications for contractors;\n\ndetailing asset inspection works of above and below ground structures;\n\nworking with local authorities and national environmentally based organisations.\n\nWill time to time involve purely as a BIM technician in Drainage and other related works\n\nBeyond qualifications and experience, the key candidate attributes we look for are the ability to solve problems, build constructive relationships and a desire to continually improve. Your work may require travel to various offices and sites in the UK.\n Key Competencies / Skills:\nMandatory Skills \nA minimum of four years’ experience within a consultancy environment\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nBasic understanding and working knowledge of UK standards\nAptitude in Civil3D.
