This position will be responsible for working on Water & Wastewater projects, conveyance systems for gravity and pressure mains, treatment plants, Pump stations and Pipelines, etc.\nThe ideal candidate should also have familiarity and understanding of other disciplines, such as Civil, and MEP systems and how the various disciplines relate to one another in a multidisciplinary project.\nThe candidate will be required to coordinate with Engineers in respective areas as necessary, communicate effectively with the team in Canada and work independently/in a team of other CAD/BIM technicians to deliver work from India.\n Responsible for basic CAD and REVIT (BIM) design tasks as directed by the Engineer. \nResponsible for all drafting for a particular discipline. \nReview and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy. \nCreation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with WSP BIM/CAD Standards, detailing practices and agreed timescales. \nCompletion of drafting tasks received from Engineers and BIM Coordinator. \nGenerate sections / schedules / schematics from general arrangement drawings. \nEnsure drawings are issued and filed in an appropriate manner. \nConversion of drawings to other formats such as DGN, DWG & PDF if required. \nProvide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager. \nEnsure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies. \nDevelop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field. \nCoordinate, support and contribute to technical capabilities of the BIM team as a whole. \nAttend team and project meetings as required. \nContribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy. \nSupport the companies approach to sustainability. \nIdentify improvements (where possible) to enhance service to clients. \nLead by example and ensure QMS compliance across team.\nKey Competencies / Skills:\nMandatory Skills\nDiploma or Degree Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent industry experience. \n5 to 10 years of experience in BIM REVIT Architecture/ structure/buildings\nHigh level of proficiency with AutoCAD REVIT \nProficiency in Microstation Connect Edition 2D packages. \nExperience in producing and checking As Built 2D drawings and 3D modelling. \nAbility to build strong working relationships. \nAbility to work well in a team environment as well as being a self-starter able to work unsupervised. \nBe an energetic, self-starter and take ownership of your work \nDesired Skills\nKnowledge of MicroStation and Civil 3D would be advantageous \nExperience of having worked in international projects -
