# Bridge Engineer

WSP Africa is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bridge Engineer to join our Transport & Infrastructure division, based in Cape Town or Midrand. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bridges, culverts, reinforced concrete structures, and large-scale infrastructure projects across the Transport & Infrastructure business unit. Drawing on your Civil, Bridge and Structural Engineering experience, you will work within a team of professional engineers and technologists, delivering the design and technical solutions that keep our clients' networks safe, durable, and cost-effective. What You'll Do Lead the conceptual and detailed design of bridges and related structural components in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare design drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Review and approve designs prepared by junior engineers or external consultants. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout project delivery.
