This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in roads, access design, swept path assessments, and transport infrastructure drawings, looking to expand into ITS and wider civil design projects.\nThe successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.\n Develop and produce transport-related CAD drawings, including road layouts, junction designs, access arrangements, pedestrian/cyclist facilities, and bus/servicing layouts.\n\nDevelop / review parking layouts in accordance with the design standards / guidelines.\n\nCarry out and present swept path analysis to assess vehicle manoeuvrability and compliance with design standards.\n\nSupport the delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Traffic Signal Control design schemes through high-quality CAD outputs.\n\nPrepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, 3D surfaces, and corridors using Civil 3D.\n\nAssist engineers in developing design layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.\n\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, drainage, utilities, etc.) to ensure design consistency.\n\nAbility to use Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise or BIM 360.\n\nAbility to support the project team across multiple live projects.\n\n Key Competencies / Skills\nStrong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.\n\nProven ability to undertake and present swept path analysis.\n\nPrior experience in developing junction layouts, road alignments, car park designs, and access arrangements.\n\nGood understanding of geometric design principles, urban roadways design principles and highway components.\n\nAbility to create parametric components within Civil 3D.\n\nStrong coordination and communication skills.\n\nHigh attention to detail and adherence to CAD/BIM standards.\n\nExperience\nMinimum 5+ years as a CAD / Civil 3D Technician within transport planning, highways, or infrastructure design.\n\nDemonstrated experience preparing swept path assessments and transport-related design drawings.\n\nExperience with BIM processes.\n\nITS or Traffic Signal Control Systems experience beneficial but not essential.\n\nBGV:\nEmployment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.\n\nCandidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process -
