When it comes to a work life balance Smithers is the place to be.\nYour Impact\nDesign and deliver civil engineering solutions for water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal road projects.\nLead preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure, including watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, pump stations, chambers, and related civil works.\nManage projects from concept through construction, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation.\nConduct construction services such as field reviews, progress reporting, and contract administration.\nPrepare proposals, technical reports, and design documentation that clearly communicate engineering intent.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary specialists across WSP to deliver integrated project outcomes.\nBuild lasting relationships with public-sector clients and local partners throughout northwest BC.\nThe Skills That Set You Apart\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.\n5+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure, land development, or water/wastewater systems design.\n Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in British Columbia-or eligible for registration.\nProven experience preparing construction contract documents and supporting contract administration.\nDemonstrated success managing client relationships and contributing to proposals or technical reports.\nProficiency with civil design tools such as Civil 3D or similar software.\nWhy Choose WSP?\nWe exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
